CURRENT FAVORITE SONG

Can you have just one song that is your favorite song of all time? That was the question that arose on the walk home from the Levee the other night. This is the same night that the pictures below were taken so it goes without saying that we were drunk. My answer to the question was a resounding "Yes". That is because I'm clear about the fact that "Rock the Casbah" by the Clash is my favorite song of all time - has been since I first heard it in my best friend Jen's bedroom in 1982 and always will be. But, neither Jeff nor Wyatt could come up with one. They go more in phases. Maybe Jeff's current favorite song is Dire Wolf but 6 months ago it was something else. No, it was probably Dire Wolf back then, too. Whatever. My point is that just because I can't stop listening to Trailer Trash by Modest Mouse doesn't mean that it's my favorite song - just my current favorite song.
